My vignette will follow a day in the life of Ellen Falvo, Owner and Operator of Potpourr Erie, a company that sells Lake Erie beach debris to buyers who want that Great Lakes taste but at the cost of tap water.
We will watch as Ellen packs up her car with her equipment, heads to the beach to dig up the beach items and takes them home to sort. We will hear about her days protesting the Great Lakes Pipeline Treaty.
We will follow her home as she sorts the beach materials into piles and composes a specialty blend for her customer tailored specialty to the intended dish they are going to serve. She will talk about how business is going, how Cleveland has grown since passing the Great Lakes Water Treaty and what that has meant for her city.
