In the future, robots are widely used in every single area. They can provide numerous benefits like labor replacing, mobile map, data analyzing, etc,. However, robots are still single objects that follows computer instructions. Sometimes, misuse or failure could leads to potential treat to people, especially those robots used in hospitals.
Sci-fiction writer Issac Asimov introduced three laws in his novel “I, robot” to prevent such dangerous accidents:
- A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
- A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
- A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second
